The Technical University at Graz , Austria , has carried out an independent Life Cycle Analysis to assess the environmental impact of Argent Energy’s production of biodiesel from used cooking oil and tallow. It takes into account all the energy used in producing biodiesel from these raw materials and the displacement of carbon dioxide. The data generated describes the ecological footprint of biodiesel from these sources compared to fossil diesel.
